Stretching the length of Río Turia’s former course, this 10km-long lung of green is a fabulous mix of playing fields, cycling, jogging and walking paths. As it curves around the eastern part of the city, it’s also a pleasant way of getting around.
For those who want to stay active even on their holidays, I recommend a nice run through this park. By far my personal favorite park in the city, as you can run most of your distance in the shade. However you will find runners at any time of day to train for the upcoming 15k of Valencia or the upcoming marathon in November.
For real sunlovers a stroll through this park is enjoyable and you will find many people reading on their towel, while the active fanatics run by. To cover more space at once, a biketour is very recommendable while being guided by your professional local guide.
